Breastfeeding is the most practical and natural way of feeding your baby. It contains all the nutrients a baby needs to grow and prosper. It is very important that parents-to-be consider all their options about feeding their baby. This can only be done after receiving all the necessary information about breastfeeding. Together with Freec@re, another agency, we organize a course about breastfeeding. This course, at the office of Freec@re, is given by a lactation specialist and will give you all the insights you need.

The international criteria of the WHO/UNICEF Baby friendly hospital initiative are the key to our breastfeeding policy.

If you can not breastfeed your baby for whatever reason, using formula is the alternative. We also provide information on this subject. During your maternity care period the maternity nurse will inform you as best as she can.
